- 2 cups florets broccoli
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Step 1: Slice 12 oz boneless skinless chicken breasts into 1/2-inch strips and season with salt and pepper.
- Step 2: Whisk 3 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp brown sugar, 1 tsp cornstarch, and 2 tbsp water in a small bowl.
- Step 3: Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add chicken strips and cook for 5-6 minutes until golden and cooked through, then transfer to a plate.
- Step 4: Add 2 cups broccoli florets to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until bright green and slightly tender. Stir in 2 minced garlic cloves and 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Step 5: Return chicken to the skillet, pour in the sauce mixture, and stir to coat. Cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens and coats the chicken and broccoli.
- Step 6: Sprinkle with 1 tsp sesame seeds and serve immediately.
