Stir-Fried Okra with Garlic and Chili

- 1 lb Okra
- 4 cloves Garlic
- 1 Red chili
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Instructions
- Step 1: Trim stems from 1 lb fresh okra and slice into 1/2-inch rounds, patting dry with paper towels.
- Step 2: Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Step 3: Add okra to skillet and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until beginning to brown and tender, stirring frequently.
- Step 4: Add 4 minced garlic cloves and 1 thinly sliced red chili, stirring for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Step 5: Stir in 1 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tsp rice vinegar, 1/2 tsp sugar, and 1/4 tsp salt. Cook for 2 more minutes until flavors meld and okra is tender-crisp.
- Step 6: Remove from heat and serve immediately as a side dish.
