Turkey and Cheddar Apple Slices Sandwich

  1. Step 1: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tsp butter; place 4 sourdough bread slices in the skillet and toast for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. Step 2: Spread 1 tbsp mayonnaise on one side of each toasted bread slice.
  3. Step 3: Layer 4 oz sliced turkey breast and 2 oz sliced cheddar cheese on the mayonnaise side of two bread slices.
  4. Step 4: Top with the remaining two bread slices (mayonnaise-side down) to form sandwiches.
  5. Step 5: Cut each sandwich diagonally and serve immediately with 1 cup of thinly sliced apple.
