Turkey and Cheddar Apple Slices Sandwich
Thinly sliced turkey and sharp cheddar layered on toasted sourdough, served with crisp apple slices for a satisfying and nutritious meal kids love.

Ingredients
- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 4 oz, thinly sliced oven-roasted turkey breast
- 2 oz, sliced sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 medium, cored and thinly sliced apple
- 1 tsp butter
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat a skillet over medium heat and add 1 tsp butter; place 4 sourdough bread slices in the skillet and toast for 2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Step 2: Spread 1 tbsp mayonnaise on one side of each toasted bread slice.
- Step 3: Layer 4 oz sliced turkey breast and 2 oz sliced cheddar cheese on the mayonnaise side of two bread slices.
- Step 4: Top with the remaining two bread slices (mayonnaise-side down) to form sandwiches.
- Step 5: Cut each sandwich diagonally and serve immediately with 1 cup of thinly sliced apple.
