Ginger-Soy Pan-Fried Tofu

Ingredients
- 14 oz block, pressed and cut into 1-inch cubes firm tofu
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp, grated ginger
- 1 clove, minced garlic
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp neutral oil
Instructions
- Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk together 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tsp grated ginger, and 1 minced garlic clove.
- Step 2: Toss tofu cubes in 1 tbsp cornstarch to coat lightly. Heat 2 tbsp neutral oil in a skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Step 3: Add tofu in a single layer and cook for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and crispy. Pour the soy sauce mixture over the tofu and cook for 2 more minutes, stirring to coat evenly.
