  3. Step 3: Stir in 14 oz canned diced tomatoes and 2 tbsp chopped sun-dried tomatoes; simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened. Add 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil, 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, 1/2 tsp sea salt, and 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper, then stir in drained spaghetti and 1/4 cup reserved pasta water to create a glossy sauce.
