Lemon-Glazed Linguine with Peas and Parmesan

Ingredients
- 8 oz linguine
- 1 cup fresh peas
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1, zested and juiced lemon
- 1/4 cup, chopped fresh basil
- 1/2 cup, freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add 8 oz linguine and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
- Step 2: While pasta cooks, heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 cup fresh peas and cook for 3 minutes until bright green and tender, stirring frequently.
- Step 3: Add drained linguine to skillet with 1/2 cup reserved pasta water, 1/2 cup grated Parmesan, 1 tsp lemon zest, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1/4 cup chopped basil, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Toss vigorously for 1 minute until sauce coats pasta and thickens slightly.
