One-Pan Garlic Pasta with Fresh Herbs
Simple pasta tossed in a garlicky herb sauce with a hint of lemon.

Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves (minced) garlic
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup (chopped) fresh basil
- 1/4 cup (chopped) fresh parsley
- 1/2 (zested and juiced) lemon
- 1/2 cup reserved pasta water
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add 8 oz spaghetti and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente, then drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- Step 2: Heat 3 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 4 minced garlic cloves and 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Step 3: Add drained spaghetti to skillet, along with 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil, 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, 1/2 lemon zest, 1/2 lemon juice, and 1/2 cup reserved pasta water. Toss well for 2-3 minutes until sauce coats pasta.
- Step 4: Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
