  3. Step 3: Add minced garlic, dried oregano, and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Stir in the cooked sausage and chicken broth, then season with salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly and coats the vegetables.
