- 8 oz bone-in chicken thighs
- 4 slices smoked bacon
- 3 tbsp heavy cream
- 2 minced garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place chicken thighs skin-side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Step 2: Wrap each thigh with half a bacon slice, securing with toothpicks if needed. Season with salt and pepper.
- Step 3: Bake for 25-28 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F (74°C) and bacon is crisp.
- Step 4: While chicken cooks, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 60 seconds until fragrant.
- Step 5: Stir in heavy cream and thyme, then simmer for 3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly and coats the back of a spoon.
- Step 6: Drizzle sauce over chicken and serve immediately.
