  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F. Toss 2 rinsed and dried cans of chickpeas with 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp harissa paste, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp cumin, and 1/4 tsp salt until evenly coated.
  2. Step 2: Spread chickpeas in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Roast for 25 minutes, shaking the pan halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
  3. Step 3: Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with 1 lemon zest (finely grated) and toss gently to distribute. Cool for 10 minutes before serving.
