Herb-Infused Beef Tenderloin with Garlic Butter

- 1 lb beef tenderloin
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Pat 1 lb beef tenderloin dry and season evenly with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- Step 2: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering; sear beef for 2 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Step 3: Transfer skillet to oven and roast for 12-15 minutes until internal temperature reaches 125°F (52°C) for medium-rare.
- Step 4: While beef rests for 10 minutes, melt 3 tbsp butter in skillet, add 2 minced garlic cloves, and cook 1 minute until fragrant; stir in 1 tbsp fresh thyme and 1 tbsp fresh parsley.
- Step 5: Slice beef and drizzle with garlic butter sauce.
