Honey-Sesame Glazed Salmon with Asparagus

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 cloves, minced garlic
- 12 oz asparagus
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 lemon wedges
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat 1.5 lbs salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- Step 2: Heat 2 tbsp sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon skin-side down and cook for 5 minutes until golden, then flip and cook for 3 more minutes.
- Step 3: Remove salmon from skillet and set aside. Add 4 minced garlic cloves to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Step 4: Stir in 3 tbsp honey and 2 tbsp soy sauce, then simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Step 5: Return salmon to the skillet, coating with sauce, and cook for 1 minute to reheat.
- Step 6: Meanwhile, toss 12 oz asparagus with 1 tbsp olive oil, season with salt, and roast on a baking sheet at 425°F for 12 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Step 7: Serve salmon with asparagus and lemon wedges on the side.
