Instructions
- Step 1: In a bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 3 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger, 3 minced garlic cloves, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, and 1 tsp sesame oil until smooth.
- Step 2: Place 6 boneless skinless chicken thighs in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, turning to coat. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Step 3: Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade, reserving marinade, and sear chicken thighs for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Step 4: Reduce heat to medium-low and pour reserved marinade into the skillet. Cook for another 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until the sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through.
- Step 5: Transfer chicken to a plate and spoon over the glaze. Garnish with 2 sliced green onions and 1 tbsp sesame seeds before serving.
