Ingredients
- 1 lb, skin-on bone-in chicken thighs
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 cloves, minced garlic
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels. In a bowl, whisk together 3 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 1 tsp sesame oil.
- Step 2: Heat 1 tsp vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken thighs skin-side down and cook for 10 minutes until skin is golden brown and crispy.
- Step 3: Flip chicken, pour soy sauce mixture over, and reduce heat to medium. Simmer for 15-18 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F internal temperature, spooning sauce over occasionally.
- Step 4: While chicken cooks, steam 2 cups broccoli florets for 5-6 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Step 5: Remove chicken from skillet, tent with foil, and let rest 5 minutes. Serve chicken with broccoli, drizzle with pan sauce, and sprinkle with 1 tsp sesame seeds.
