- 3 medium tomatoes
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Slice 3 medium tomatoes into 1/4-inch thick rounds and arrange in a single layer on a plate.
- Step 2: Slice 8 oz mozzarella cheese into 1/4-inch thick rounds and layer evenly over tomatoes.
- Step 3: Tear 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves and scatter over mozzarella.
- Step 4: Whisk together 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar, 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/8 tsp black pepper in a small bowl until combined.
- Step 5: Drizzle balsamic glaze evenly over layered salad just before serving.
