- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup, finely chopped fresh basil
- 2 tbsp, finely chopped fresh parsley
- 12 sheets lasagna noodles
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 1/2 cups, shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup, grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F. Spread 1/2 cup marinara sauce evenly in a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Step 2: Arrange 6 lasagna noodles in a single layer over the sauce, then spread 1/2 cup ricotta mixed with 2 tbsp basil and 1 tbsp parsley evenly over noodles.
- Step 3: Top with 3 sliced zucchini layers, then cover with 1 cup marinara sauce, 6 more noodles, and remaining ricotta-herb mixture.
- Step 4: Finish with final 6 noodles, remaining marinara sauce, and 1 cup mozzarella. Sprinkle with 2 tbsp Parmesan.
- Step 5: Bake uncovered for 40 minutes until golden and bubbling around edges, then let rest 15 minutes before serving.
