Lemon-Garlic Salmon with Steamed Broccoli

Ingredients
- 2 (6 oz each) salmon fillets
- 1, zested and juiced lemon
- 4 cloves, minced garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 12 oz, cut into florets broccoli
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Season salmon fillets with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper on both sides.
- Step 2: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 5-6 minutes until skin is crispy, then flip and cook for 3-4 minutes more until cooked through.
- Step 3: In the same skillet, add remaining 1 tbsp olive oil, 4 minced garlic cloves, and lemon zest. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Add broccoli florets and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.
- Step 4: Return salmon to skillet, add 2 tbsp lemon juice, and cook for 1 minute to blend flavors and create a light sauce.
