Miso-Glazed Salmon with Sesame-Ginger Scallions

Ingredients
- 4 (6 oz each) Salmon fillets
- 3 tbsp White miso paste
- 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- 1 tsp Sesame oil
- 4 medium, thinly sliced Scallions
- 1 tbsp minced Fresh ginger
- 1 tsp Soy sauce
- 1 tsp Toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Step 1: Whisk miso paste, rice vinegar, mirin, and 1 tsp sesame oil in a bowl until smooth. Brush half over salmon fillets, reserving the rest.
- Step 2: Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 4 minutes without moving.
- Step 3: Flip salmon, brush with reserved miso mixture, and cook for 3-4 minutes until internal temperature reaches 125°F (52°C).
- Step 4: While salmon cooks, heat remaining 1/2 tsp sesame oil in a small pan. Add ginger and scallions, sautéing for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Step 5: Transfer salmon to plates, top with ginger-scallion mixture, and sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
