Serves 2.
Ingredients
- 1 lb, skin-on salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp white miso paste
- 1 tbsp rice wine
- 1/2, juiced lemon
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 clove, minced garlic
- 1 tsp, chopped dill
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat salmon dry and season skin-side with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high until shimmering, then place salmon skin-side down and cook for 5-6 minutes until skin is crisp and golden.
- Step 2: Flip salmon, add miso paste, rice wine, and lemon juice to the skillet, stirring to dissolve. Simmer for 2 minutes until sauce thickens slightly and coats the salmon.
- Step 3: Add minced garlic and dill, cooking for 30 seconds more until fragrant. Remove from heat and let rest 3 minutes before serving to keep salmon moist.
