One-Pan Garlic-Butter Shrimp with Asparagus

Ingredients
- 12 oz, peeled and deveined shrimp
- 8 oz, trimmed asparagus
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves, minced garlic
- 1/2, juiced lemon
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups cooked rice
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add asparagus and cook for 4 minutes until crisp-tender, then set aside.
- Step 2: Add butter to the same skillet and melt over medium heat. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Step 3: Add shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Step 4: Stir in lemon juice, then return asparagus to the skillet. Toss to coat and cook for 1 minute more. Serve immediately over rice.
