One-Pot Tomato Basil Shrimp Pasta

Ingredients
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 cloves, minced garlic
- 1 lb, peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 cup, chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup, grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add spaghetti and cook for 8-10 minutes until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- Step 2: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant, not browned.
- Step 3: Add shrimp to skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Step 4: Stir in crushed tomatoes, chopped fresh basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Step 5: Add drained spaghetti to skillet, tossing until coated in sauce. Cook for 2 minutes until heated through.
- Step 6: Serve immediately with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
