Ingredients
- 2 (6 oz each) chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves, minced garlic
- 1, zested and juiced lemon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp, chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Season both sides with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- Step 2: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.

- Step 4: Transfer chicken to a plate and rest for 5 minutes. Pour lemon-garlic mixture into the skillet and simmer for 1 minute, scraping up browned bits.
