Pan-Roasted Salmon with Garden Herbs

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Season 2 salmon fillets with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper on both sides.
  2. Step 2: Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down if skin is on, and cook for 3 minutes until golden.
  3. Step 3: Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 10-12 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
  4. Step 4: Remove from oven and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon fresh dill and 1 tablespoon fresh chives. Serve with lemon slices.
