Pan-Roasted Salmon with Garden Herbs

Ingredients
- 2 (6 ounces each) salmon fillet
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon, chopped fresh dill
- 1 tablespoon, chopped fresh chives
- 1, sliced lemon
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Season 2 salmon fillets with 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper on both sides.
- Step 2: Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets in the skillet, skin-side down if skin is on, and cook for 3 minutes until golden.
- Step 3: Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 10-12 minutes until the salmon is cooked through.
- Step 4: Remove from oven and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon fresh dill and 1 tablespoon fresh chives. Serve with lemon slices.
