Pan-Seared Chicken Breast with Sage and Garlic

Ingredients
- 4 (6 oz each) Chicken breast, boneless and skinless
- 2 tbsp Unsalted butter
- 4 Fresh sage leaves
- 2, minced Garlic cloves
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Step 2: Add chicken breasts to the skillet, leaving space between each piece, and cook for 5 minutes without moving to form a golden crust.
- Step 3: Flip chicken and add 2 tbsp unsalted butter and 4 fresh sage leaves to the skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes more until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) and the sage leaves are fragrant and slightly crisp.
- Step 4: Remove chicken from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
