Quick Pan-Seared Tuna with Avocado Salsa
Crispy seared tuna served over a fresh avocado salsa for a light, protein-rich Whole30 dinner.

Ingredients
- 6 oz tuna steaks
- 1 avocado
- 1/4 cup red onion
- 1 lime
- 2 tbsp cilantro
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat tuna dry and season with 1/8 tsp sea salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper. Heat 1/2 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over high heat until shimmering.
- Step 2: Sear tuna for 1 minute per side until a golden crust forms. Remove and rest for 3 minutes.
- Step 3: Dice avocado and red onion. Squeeze lime juice over the mixture, then add 1 tbsp chopped cilantro and 1/8 tsp sea salt. Toss gently.
- Step 4: Slice tuna and serve immediately with avocado salsa spooned over the top.
