Streetcar Sausage Skillet

- 12 oz smoked sausage links
- 1 medium, thinly sliced yellow onion
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 12 oz sliced smoked sausage links and cook for 5 minutes until browned on all sides, turning occasionally.
- Step 2: Add 1 medium thinly sliced yellow onion to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes until golden and translucent, stirring occasionally.
- Step 3: Whisk together 2 tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, and 1 tbsp all-purpose flour in a small bowl. Pour into skillet and stir until combined, then add 1/4 cup chicken broth and simmer for 3 minutes until sauce thickens and coats the sausage.
