Instructions

  1. Step 1: Season 1 lb trimmed pork tenderloin with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper on all sides. Heat 1 tbsp butter in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat until sizzling, then sear the pork for 3 minutes per side until golden brown.
  2. Step 2: Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside. Add 3 tbsp bourbon whiskey and 2 dashes Angostura bitters to the skillet, scraping up any browned bits. Simmer for 1 minute until slightly reduced.
  3. Step 3: Stir in 2 tbsp honey and 1 tsp all-purpose flour to create a glaze, cooking for 2 minutes until thickened and glossy. Pour the glaze over the seared pork tenderloin in the skillet.
  4. Step 4: Transfer the skillet to a preheated oven at 400°F and roast for 15 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 145°F. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Step 5: While pork rests, melt 1 tbsp butter in a separate skillet over medium heat, add 1 thinly sliced apple, and cook for 5 minutes until caramelized and tender, stirring occasionally.
