Instructions

  1. Step 1: Whisk together 1.5 tbsp grated ginger, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tsp sesame oil, and 1 tsp rice vinegar in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Step 2: Heat 1 tsp sesame oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Place 4 salmon fillets skin-side down and cook for 4 minutes until skin is crisp.
  3. Step 3: Flip salmon and spoon half the ginger glaze over the top. Cook for 5 minutes, basting occasionally with the remaining glaze, until salmon is opaque and flakes easily.
  4. Step 4: Remove salmon from pan. Add 1 cup trimmed snap peas and 2 minced garlic cloves to the skillet. Sauté for 2 minutes until peas are bright green and tender-crisp.
  5. Step 5: Stir 1 tsp cornstarch into the pan juices, then add the reserved glaze. Cook for 1 minute until thickened and glossy. Pour over salmon and serve immediately.
