Honey-Glazed Garlic Chicken

- 1 lb, boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 3 cloves, minced garlic
- 1 tsp, grated ginger
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat 1 lb chicken thighs dry with paper towels. In a bowl, whisk 3 tbsp honey, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 2 tbsp rice vinegar, 3 minced garlic cloves, 1 tsp grated ginger, 1 tbsp sesame oil, and 1/2 tsp black pepper.
- Step 2: Add chicken to the marinade, coating evenly, and marinate for 15 minutes at room temperature.
- Step 3: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Step 4: Remove chicken and pour marinade into the skillet. Simmer for 2 minutes until slightly thickened. Return chicken to the skillet, coating with sauce, and sprinkle with 1 tbsp sesame seeds before serving.
