One-Pan Shrimp and Asparagus with Garlic

Ingredients
- 1 lb, peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1 bunch (12 oz), trimmed asparagus
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves, minced garlic
- 1, juiced lemon
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat 2 tablespoons olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season shrimp with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper, then add to skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Step 2: Remove shrimp and set aside. Add remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil to skillet, then add 4 minced garlic cloves and 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Step 3: Add asparagus to skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until bright green and tender-crisp. Return shrimp to skillet, add lemon juice, and toss to combine. Cook for 1 minute more to heat through.
