Orange-Thyme Chicken with Aperol Glaze

Ingredients
- 1.5 lb Chicken thighs
- 2 oz Aperol
- 2 oz Fresh orange juice
- 1 tbsp Honey
- 1 tsp Fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 2, minced Garlic cloves
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: In a small saucepan, combine 2 oz Aperol, 2 oz fresh orange juice, 1 tbsp honey, and 1 tsp fresh thyme leaves. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes until reduced by half.
- Step 2: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season 1.5 lb chicken thighs with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- Step 3: Sear chicken for 5 minutes per side until golden brown. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and simmer for 2 minutes until fragrant.
- Step 4: Pour the reduced glaze over chicken, turning to coat evenly. Simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens and chicken is cooked through.
