Pan-Seared Dill Chicken with Roasted Asparagus

Ingredients
- 4 (6 oz each) boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp fresh dill
- 1 lemon
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 lb asparagus
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F. Place 1 lb trimmed asparagus on a baking sheet, drizzle with 1 tsp olive oil, and season with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper. Roast for 12-15 minutes until tender and slightly charred.
- Step 2: In a small bowl, combine 2 tbsp fresh dill, lemon zest from 1 lemon, lemon juice from 1 lemon, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Rub mixture evenly over both sides of 4 chicken breasts.
- Step 3: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Step 4: Let chicken rest 5 minutes, then slice and serve with roasted asparagus.
