Pan-Seared Garlic and Dill Salmon

Salmon fillets seared with garlic and fresh dill, finished with a bright lemon herb sauce.

  1. Step 1: Pat 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each) dry with paper towels. Season both sides with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
  2. Step 2: Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 4 minutes until skin is crisp. Flip and cook 3 more minutes until salmon is opaque and flakes easily.
  3. Step 3: Remove salmon from skillet. Add 3 cloves minced garlic to the skillet and cook 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill and 1 tbsp lemon juice, then spoon over salmon. Garnish with 1 lemon, sliced.
