Pan-Seared Shrimp with Garlic and Capers

Ingredients
- 12 oz shrimp
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp capers
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat 12 oz shrimp dry with paper towels and season evenly with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- Step 2: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink and opaque, then transfer to a plate.
- Step 3: Add the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil to the skillet, then add 3 minced garlic cloves and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant but not browned.
- Step 4: Stir in 1 tbsp drained capers, return shrimp to the skillet, and toss for 1 minute until heated through and coated.
