  2. Step 2: Beat 4 egg whites with an electric mixer on medium-high until soft peaks form; gradually add 1/2 cup granulated sugar, one tablespoon at a time, beating until glossy and stiff peaks form (about 5 minutes).
  3. Step 3: Fold in 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice until fully incorporated.
  4. Step 4: Spoon meringue onto prepared baking sheet, shaping into a 6-inch round; smooth the top with a spatula.
  5. Step 5: Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes; turn off oven and let pavlova cool inside for 1 hour.
  6. Step 6: Remove from oven, cool completely on a wire rack, then top with 2 cups sliced strawberries, 2 sliced kiwis, and 1 cup whipped cream before serving.
