Sausage and Cheese Egg Bites

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup ground pork sausage
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme
- 1/8 tsp sea salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 6-cup muffin tin with silicone liners or lightly grease with cooking spray.
- Step 2: Brown 1/2 cup ground pork sausage in a skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes, breaking it into small pieces, then set aside to cool slightly.
- Step 3: Whisk 4 large eggs, 1/4 cup heavy cream, 1/8 tsp sea salt, and 1/8 tsp black pepper in a bowl until smooth.
- Step 4: Stir 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese and cooled sausage into the egg mixture, then fold in 1/4 tsp dried thyme.
- Step 5: Divide mixture evenly among the muffin cups, filling each 3/4 full, and bake for 20-22 minutes until puffed and set in the center.
