Sausage and Cheese Egg Bites

  2. Step 2: Brown 1/2 cup ground pork sausage in a skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes, breaking it into small pieces, then set aside to cool slightly.
  3. Step 3: Whisk 4 large eggs, 1/4 cup heavy cream, 1/8 tsp sea salt, and 1/8 tsp black pepper in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Stir 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese and cooled sausage into the egg mixture, then fold in 1/4 tsp dried thyme.
  5. Step 5: Divide mixture evenly among the muffin cups, filling each 3/4 full, and bake for 20-22 minutes until puffed and set in the center.
