Ingredients
- 4 (6 oz each) salmon fillets
- 12 oz asparagus
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 lemon
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each, skin-on) dry with paper towels. Season both sides with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- Step 2: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering. Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 5-6 minutes without moving until skin is crispy and golden.
- Step 3: Flip salmon, add 12 oz trimmed asparagus (cut into 2-inch pieces) and 2 minced garlic cloves to skillet, and cook for 4-5 minutes, turning asparagus occasionally, until salmon reaches 145°F (63°C) and asparagus is tender-crisp.
