Sheet-Pan Salmon with Asparagus

Ingredients
- 2 (6 oz each) salmon fillets
- 1 lb asparagus
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 3/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 425°F. Trim asparagus ends and arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle with 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/2 tsp sea salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Toss to coat.
- Step 2: Season salmon fillets with remaining 1/2 tsp sea salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, and 1 tbsp lemon zest. Place salmon on top of asparagus.
- Step 3: Roast for 12-15 minutes until salmon flakes easily with a fork and asparagus is tender-crisp. Drizzle with remaining 1 tbsp olive oil before serving.
