Soy-Glazed Salmon with Sesame Vegetables
Pan-seared salmon with a glossy soy-honey glaze, served over a quick stir-fry of broccoli and carrots with toasted sesame seeds.

Ingredients
- 4 (6 oz each) salmon fillets
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cups florets broccoli
- 1 cup sliced carrots
- 1 clove, minced garlic
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp rice vinegar, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp cornstarch, and 2 tbsp water to make glaze.
- Step 2: Pat 4 salmon fillets dry. Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add salmon skin-side down and cook for 6 minutes until skin is crisp.
- Step 3: Flip salmon and brush with 2 tbsp glaze. Cook for 3-4 minutes more until salmon flakes easily.
- Step 4: While salmon cooks, heat 1 tbsp oil in a separate pan over medium-high. Add 2 cups broccoli florets, 1 cup sliced carrots, and 1 minced garlic clove. Stir-fry for 5 minutes until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Step 5: Brush remaining glaze over salmon, then serve immediately over vegetables, sprinkled with 1 tsp toasted sesame seeds.
