- 2 oz Myers's Original Dark Rum
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- 4 oz boiling water
- 1 tsp unsalted butter
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch freshly ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Step 1: Place 0.5 oz simple syrup in a preheated ceramic mug. Add 1 tsp unsalted butter, 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract, then stir vigorously until the butter melts and the spices dissolve.
- Step 2: Pour 4 oz boiling water into the mug and stir until fully incorporated and the mixture is warm to the touch.
- Step 3: Gently stir in 2 oz Myers's Original Dark Rum until the liquid is evenly mixed and no separation occurs.
