Tomato-Glazed Beef Pork Loaf

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 lb ground pork
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup, finely chopped onion
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, combine 1 lb ground beef, 1/2 lb ground pork, 1/2 cup breadcrumbs, 1 large egg, 1/4 cup chopped onion, 2 tbsp tomato paste, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp dried oregano, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- Step 2: Press mixture into a loaf pan and smooth the top. Mix 1/4 cup tomato sauce, 1 tbsp brown sugar, and 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar for the glaze.
- Step 3: Spread glaze evenly over the meatloaf. Bake for 55 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Step 4: Let rest 10 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
