Baked Kibbeh with Bulgur and Ground Beef

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, finely ground bulgur, chopped onion, cumin, allspice, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper, and 1/4 cup parsley. Mix thoroughly with hands until evenly distributed.
  2. Step 2: Press mixture firmly into a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan, smoothing the top. Drizzle with 2 tbsp olive oil.
  3. Step 3: Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from oven and let rest 10 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Spread 1/2 cup tomato sauce over the top, then garnish with an additional 1 tbsp chopped parsley before slicing.
