Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1/2 lb Ground pork
- 1/4 cup, finely chopped Onion
- 2 cloves, minced Garlic
- 1/2 cup Bread crumbs
- 1 large Egg
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp Ketchup
- 1 tbsp Brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F. In a large bowl, combine 1 lb ground beef, 1/2 lb ground pork, 1/4 cup finely chopped onion, 2 minced garlic cloves, 1/2 cup bread crumbs, 1 large egg, and 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce; mix with hands until just combined.
- Step 2: Form the mixture into a loaf shape on a parchment-lined baking sheet and smooth the top.
- Step 3: In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp ketchup, 1 tbsp brown sugar, and 2 tbsp tomato paste; spread evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
- Step 4: Bake for 45-50 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F, then let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
