Instructions
- Step 1: Press excess water from 7 oz firm tofu and cut into 1-inch cubes. Toss tofu cubes with 1 tsp cornstarch to lightly coat.
- Step 2: Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add tofu cubes and sauté for 6-7 minutes, turning occasionally until all sides are golden and crispy. Remove tofu and set aside.
- Step 3: In the same skillet, add 1 tbsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp minced fresh ginger, and 3 minced garlic cloves. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Step 4: Add 2 cups broccoli florets and 1/4 cup water to the skillet. Stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
- Step 5: Return the tofu to the skillet, pour in 3 tbsp soy sauce, and toss everything together. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until sauce thickens slightly and coats tofu and broccoli.
- Step 6: Remove from heat and garnish with 2 sliced green onions before serving hot with steamed rice or noodles.
