Herb-Infused Pan-Seared Salmon with Asparagus

Ingredients
- 2 (6 oz each), skin-on salmon fillets
- 1 lb, trimmed asparagus
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp, chopped fresh dill
- 1 tsp, chopped fresh thyme
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each), skin-on, dry with paper towels. Season both sides with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper.
- Step 2: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Step 3: Place salmon skin-side down in skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes without moving until skin is crispy and golden.
- Step 4: Flip salmon and add 1 lb trimmed asparagus to skillet, along with 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill, 1 tsp chopped fresh thyme, and 1 tbsp lemon juice.
- Step 5: Cook for 4-5 minutes until salmon is opaque throughout and asparagus is tender-crisp.
