Pan-Seared Steak with Garlic Butter

Ingredients
- 4 (6 oz each) ribeye steaks
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves, minced garlic
- 1 tbsp, chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and season both sides with 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp black pepper.
- Step 2: Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a cast-iron skillet over high heat until smoking. Add the steaks and sear for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare (internal temperature 130°F), then transfer to a plate and tent loosely with foil.
- Step 3: In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil and 4 tbsp butter. Melt the butter, then add 4 minced garlic cloves and 1 tbsp chopped rosemary. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Step 4: Pour the garlic butter sauce over the steaks and serve immediately.
