Sesame-Ginger Baked Chicken Thighs

- 12 oz, skin-on, bone-in chicken thighs
- 2 tbsp tamari
- 1 tbsp, freshly grated ginger
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Pat 12 oz skin-on bone-in chicken thighs dry with paper towels, then season evenly with 1/2 tsp sea salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk 2 tbsp tamari, 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger, 1 tsp sesame oil, and 1 tbsp avocado oil until combined. Brush half of the sauce over the chicken thighs.
- Step 3: Place chicken skin-side up on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 25-28 minutes, basting with remaining sauce halfway through, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and skin is golden and crisp.
