Turmeric-Spiced Baked Salmon with Roasted Asparagus

Ingredients
- 4 (6 oz each) salmon fillets
- 1 lb, trimmed asparagus
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 1 tbsp, grated fresh turmeric
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Place asparagus on a parchment-lined baking sheet and drizzle with 1 tbsp avocado oil, then season with 1/4 tsp sea salt and 1/8 tsp black pepper.
- Step 2: Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels, then rub with remaining 1 tbsp avocado oil, 1 tbsp grated turmeric, lemon zest, 1/4 tsp sea salt, and 1/8 tsp black pepper.
- Step 3: Arrange salmon on top of asparagus, then roast for 12-14 minutes until salmon flakes easily with a fork and asparagus is tender-crisp.
